A client hired Snoop Dogg to DJ their awards gala afterparty (awards show participants included the one and only Jane Fonda.) We brought in a house jazz quartet for the night and asked them to play “Gin and Juice” as The Doggfather took the stage. Turns out, Snoop liked the band’s take on his hip hop classic so much that he went straight into an improv performance of the song, sending the audience into total rapture! Minutes later, Jane Fonda hopped on stage to boogie down with Snoop. The only thing not surprising was how wild the crowd went.
